Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany gushes over QB’s pre-birthday surprise ahead of Chiefs-Bengals clash
After beating the Baltimore Ravens in the season opener, the Kansas City Chiefs will face the Cincinnati Bengals in just a few hours. After the last game, Patrick Mahomes went to party with Travis Kelce and Chiefs teammates at the tight end’s favorite restaurant. This time, however, Mahomes will have a special surprise waiting for him after the game.
On Sunday, Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, took to her Instagram story to reveal a pre-birthday surprise she planned for the quarterback, who will turn 29 this Tuesday. Sharing the surprise on her Instagram, the SI model can be heard saying:
“We are celebrating somebody’s birthday after the game and I can’t get over thisssss.”
In the Instagram story, Brittany showed a massive rectangular-shaped photo frame. One side showcased the childhood pictures of Patrick Mahomes, with his initials printed on the other side. Even though Mahomes’ birthday is on Tuesday, the celebrations have already started.
A week before his birthday, the quarterback answered the most controversial yet viral topic of the month, i.e., his political stand. Brittany Mahomes made headlines after Donald Trump praised her, following the model’s alleged online support, which got fans wondering if he, too, supports the former U.S. President.
Patrick Mahomes opened up about his political affiliations
While NFL fans have certain opinions about Brittany’s political support, there’s still not much known about her husband's political opinion. Last week the quarterback was asked about the same; however, he declined to answer. Instead, the quarterback said:
“I don't want my place and platform to be used to endorse a candidate or do whatever, either way. I think my place is to inform people to get registered to vote. It's to inform people to do their own research and then make the best decision for them and their family.”
"Whenever I'm hanging out with whoever, I'm not thinking about their political views. I'm thinking about the people and how they treat other people. ... You've seen my history. I've come up with people from every aspect of life, from every background,” Mahomes added.
Keeping aside the political controversies, the quarterback will be focused on taking down the Cincinnati Bengals at the Arrowhead Stadium.
