On Wednesday, Brittany Mahomes shed light on the same in the latest episode of "Whoop." When host Will Ahmed asked Brittany to share details about how she and Mahomes started dating, the SI model recalled:
"We were friends for a really long time, obviously, and he was trying to date me. I was staying in my Lane, being my own thing, doing my own thing, and he one day at lunch, cuz we sat at the same lunch table every day, was trying to be corny, I guess, you could say. And wrote me a Valentine's letter and brought me a rose and it was so cute." (4:04)
"I thought it was the cutest thing in the world, and he was just doing it to be sarcastic. And so I really liked that he had attempted to do something super sweet and I think from there we just kind of started talking and then started dating."
Moving forward in the podcast, Brittany Mahomes expressed how Patrick is a great family man. The quarterback is a master at managing a family, kids and a busy work life, considering he grew up around an MLB star father.

"I think he's helped me get to that point where I'm strong in who I am. I'm confident in who I am. I'm confident in mine and his relationship. And I'm confident in our life. So why does what other people say have to matter at all."
