Patrick Mahomes' wife Brittany sends strong message to NiJaree Canady as Texas Tech star makes record-setting WCWS run
Patrick Mahomes' wife, Brittany, shared a supportive message for Texas Tech pitcher NiJaree Canady after she led the Red Raiders to their first Women's College World Series run. Canady reportedly signed a blockbuster $1 million NIL deal, becoming the first softball player to land two million-dollar deals.
Brittany reposted Canady's historic NIL deal on her Instagram story, with a message for the Red Raiders star.
"Invest in women's sports & athletes. Hell of a run (@ NiJaree Canady)," Brittany wrote on her IG story on Saturday.

Canady had made history in 2024 when she landed a $1 million NIL deal to receive direct payments and $50K for living expenses. She earned her second seven-figure NIL deal last week, her manager, Derrick Shelby of Prestige Management, confirmed on Friday.
Canady's second million-dollar deal was agreed upon just before Texas Tech's Game 3 of the Women’s College World Series championship series against the Texas Longhorns.
The Red Raiders lost the final game of the WCWS 10-4 against the Longhorns on Friday night.
Although Canady wasn't able to get Texas Tech over the line at the final hurdle, she finished the season with 34 wins and a 0.97 ERA during the regular season. She also threw every pitch for Texas Tech in the first two games of the championship series and the first inning of the third.
Patrick Mahomes, a Texas Tech alum, attended the WCWS Game 2 along with Brittany on Thursday night from Devon Park in Oklahoma City. He also posted on social media before the matchup started, writing:
"Come on!!! Let's go!"
The Red Raiders won the contest 4-3 against the Longhorns, forcing a Game 3.
Earlier, before Wednesday's Game 1, Mahomes presented the Texas Tech players with letterman-style jackets and shoes in the school's colors.

Patrick Mahomes and Brittany became parents for the third time in January when they welcomed a daughter, Golden Raye.
