Patriots' Drake Maye gets engaged to Ann Michael after stunning beachside proposal
New England Patriots QB Drake Maye took to IG on Wednesday to share a major update on his life. Maye uploaded pictures of his proposal to long-time girlfriend, now fiancée, Ann Michael Hudson, with the caption,
“Love doing life with you. Can’t wait to marry you! ❤️”
The pictures were clicked on oceanside from what appears to be a planned photoshoot. In one of the pictures, the couple sat on the beach on a decorated carpet with pillows and a wall of red roses.
The couple began dating in 2015 and has been together since, often posting about each other. They made their relationship public in 2020, and the couple celebrated their ninth anniversary last year on October 30 after Maye finally made it to the big league.

Excited by the news, the post was also shared by the couple’s close relatives. Drake Maye’s brothers, Cole, Luke, and Beau, shared the post with personalized messages. Beau shared an emoji with gentle, teary eyes while Luke wrote, ‘Congrats!’ and Cole welcomed Hudson to the family.
Meanwhile, Ann Hudson’s cousins also shared the post on their IG stories with personalized messages. Reese wrote,
“Finally!!!!! So happy for @amh811 & @drake.maye” while Kendall wrote, “Omggg!! So happy for y'all.
Aside from congratulatory messages from family members, friends, and well-wishers, the New England Patriots social media team also congratulated the couple.

Ann Michael Hudson is the daughter of former Wofford College football player Kevin Hudson and his wife, Alicia Hudson. She was born on August 11, 2003, and is the oldest among her siblings, sister Khaki and brother Tad. She was the captain of her school cheerleading team, varsity softball, and field hockey at William Amos Hough High School in Cornelius, NC.
She joined the University of North Carolina for her bachelor's degree in business administration. Later on, Hudson interned at Piedmont Pennies in Charlotte and Bosch Power Tools in Mooresville, NC. As per her last update on LinkedIn, she joined Deloitte Consulting as a summer scholar in Washington.
