"Peasant of the NFL": Emmanuel Acho blasts 'frustrated' Caleb Williams after Bears' 8th loss in a row

Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears had a tough game on Monday. Not only did they lose 30-12 to the Minnesota Vikings, their QB became an overnight meme. With Monday's loss, the team is now on an eight-game losing streak.

In the final quarter of the game, Williams scrambled before he let the ball fly downfield. But he took a hit by linebacker Jihad Ward and lay on the ground for some time before getting up and walking to the sidelines.

Once on the bench, his body language and slumping went viral online. Some mocked him while others sympathized with him and how the Bears O-line exposed him.

"The Facility" panel member Emmanuel Acho, during Tuesday's episode, blasted Caleb Williams for his behavior.

"Caleb, you not a damsel. You not in distress. We do not feel sorry for you. It is the National Football League. Caleb Williams' body language is starting to become not just concerning, but irritating in the game of football, particularly when you're a rookie," Acho said.

He added:

"You go from being a king in college to being a peasant. And I believe somebody needs to inform Caleb Williams that you are now the peasant of the National Football League ... Why you sitting there laying on the bench like somebody gonna come pick you up? Nobody's coming to rescue you."

Caleb Williams' postgame press conference after tough game

After the game, during the press conference, he said being hit on the gridiron is like being involved in a car accident. However, he did not fish for sympathy and said that he needed to work on getting back stronger.

"But like I said before, got to do well with hydrating, do well with working out and all that, and stay to my routine. You know, it’s kept me healthy throughout the whole year, and got to keep going," Williams told reporters.

Williams has been sacked 58 times this season which is a franchise record for a single season.
