Eagles vs. Packers Game Summary

In the first quarter, the Packers got into the red zone twice and had to settle for field goals each time to take a 6-0 lead. However, less than three minutes into the second quarter, they'd rue those missed opportunities as Saquon Barkley got his first touchdown for the Eagles with an 18-yard catch and run to give his team the lead.

The Packers responded with a touchdown of their own as Jayden Reed took the ball from the 33-yard line to the endzone. They couldn't convert the subsequent two-point attempt, which proved costly five minutes later, as Barkley's second touchdown of the night - an 11-yard run - gave the Giants the lead.

Green Bay needed only 23 seconds to respond as quarterback Jordan Love found Reed with a pass who took it to the house with a 70-yard dash to the endzone. The Eagles closed the half with a Jake Elliot field goal from 38 yards out to go into the break trailing 19-17.

Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown combined to give Philadelphia a perfect start to the third quarter as the quarterback found the wide receiver for a 67-yard touchdown pass less than a minute into the half to reclaim the lead.

However, it lasted only two minutes and 14 seconds and Love drove the Packers' offense down to the Eagles' two-yard line before finding Christian Watson in the endzone to help his team take a 26-24 lead.

Just as Green Bay was looking to get a foothold in the game, another stellar drive by Philadelphia capped off by a two-yard touchdown run by Barkley saw them reclaim the lead. The Packers cut the deficit to two with a field goal, but couldn't get the ball back.

The Eagles tried to ice the game with a Tush Push but Hurts fumbled the ball. Thankfully, Barkley was alert and dived onto the ball. They sent in Elliot to kick his second field of the night and he converted with ease to extend Philadelphia's lead to five with only 27 seconds left in the game.

The Packers sent in quarterback Malik Willis to throw the Hail Mary after Jordan Love left the game with an injury. His attempt came up short and the Eagles won 34-29.
