PICS: Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly shares glimpse into cozy Christmas decorations inside Hidden Hills home
Christmas is almost next door, and Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly has almost finished decorating her house. After revealing her kids' "underwhelmed" reaction, Kelly Stafford shared a glimpse of her Christmas decor from inside her 'Hidden Hill' house.
On Thursday, Kelly Stafford took to her Instagram to share a clip highlighting the Christmas decorations from her living room. In the video, her kids can be seen enjoying a TV show while Kelly captures the cozy decor. In the caption, she wrote:
"Almost there."
Kelly Stafford's Instagram story came less than a day after she revealed her daughters' reaction to Christmas decorations. In Thursday's episode of "The Morning After" podcast, Kelly opened up about disciplining her kids over their reaction. Opening up about the same, Kelly said:
"And the first day the kids came home, and Matthew, the kids were very underwhelmed with the Christmas lights. They were like, 'Mom, is this it?' And I was like, 'If you don't want it to be it, you are more than welcome to grab a strand of lights and you can just go do it yourself.' And they looked at me like I was crazy.”
“I said, you know, in the real world, everyone puts their own damn lights up. Mommy did it when I was younger. Daddy did it when he was younger. If he wasn't the Grinch, maybe he was the Grinch when he was younger too. I don't know, but they looked at me like crazy. And Matthew came home and was like, the lights are perfect,” Kelly further added. (1:17)
Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly confessed to losing Christmas decor
Moving forward in the same podcast episode, Kelly Stafford recalled coming home 'high' from a dinner date with husband Matthew Stafford and losing an important Christmas decor. Recalling that incident, "The Morning After" host said:
"We came home. I was like, gotta move, sugar plum. But I was also a little high on meth. You know, Matthew had had some cocktails, I had had some weed. And, you know, we were in a good place. Maybe not to move Sugar Plum, though. So we get home, we go to bed. (22:41)
"I wake up, Sora comes into my room this morning and I'm going, 'Sh*t, sugar plum,' like we didn't move her. So I was like, I looked at Matthew. I was like, 'You stay here.' I run downstairs to the spot that she was the day before, and she's not there. I was like either this elf is real and f***ing moved itself, or I moved it, and I don't remember," Kelly further added.
Kelly Stafford previously revealed using therapy to overcome her "people pleaser" nature. During one segment of the same podcast episode, Kelly opened up about her mental health journey with therapy and how it helped her become better.
