Post Malone makes crazy Super Bowl bet with Michael Irvin, goes all-in on Dallas Cowboys

Post Malone, a friend of former Dallas Cowboys player Michael Irvin, is known primarily for two things: his music and his tattoos. The rapper recently made a bet on the team that could literally scar him for life.

In a video posted by Irvin on Twitter, Malone could be seen saying he'll get No. 88 tattooed on his forehead if Dallas makes it to the Super Bowl.

"If the Cowboys win the Super Bowl, I get 88 on my forehead," Malone said.
Let’s put that 88 tattoo on @postmolone forehead!!!!! @88DrewPearson @DezBryant @dallascowboys #cowboysnation #SUPERBOWL πŸ˜³πŸ˜³πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚β€οΈβ€οΈπŸˆπŸˆπŸ†πŸ† https://t.co/fFMdriqA5W

The bet was made at a dinner at a restaurant with numerous witnesses. Irvin also expected all attendees to return for a similar dinner in February if Dallas reaches the big game.

Many claim that the team has something special this year after riding high under the arm of backup Cooper Rush in the absence of Dak Prescott. Others will likely look at their history and claim the odds are by far with Post Malone.

The last time the team reached the Super Bowl was when Post Malone was a tattoo-less baby in 1995. Since then, while the team has had plenty of regular-season success, it has failed to make a substantial dent in the playoffs.

Since then, the team has made the playoffs 11 times. The farthest they have reached is the divisional round.

At the time of the bet (posted on Oct. 20), Dallas (4-2) are third in the NFC East division race. They are coming off a loss to the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles and also trail the 5-1 New York Giants.

However, with Dak Prescott expected to return to action in the coming days, Dallas fans have plenty of hope that they can flip the script.
