Puka Nacua's girlfriend Hailee Aiono pens heartfelt note after Rams WR's first game back from injured reserve
The Los Angeles Rams hosted the Minnesota Vikings at SoFi Stadium to kick off the Week 8 NFL schedule. The Rams received some early good news with star wide receiver Cooper Kupp back in action after dealing with an ankle injury but Sean McVay was given some added good news after fellow wide receiver Puka Nacua also made his return from a sprained cruciate ligament injury he suffered in Week 1.
While there were concerns that Nakua would be on a snap count since he was just activated off Injured Reserve, those concerns were quelled soon enough after the Rams playmaker delivered under the bright lights of primetime football to rack up the Rams' third win of the season. That Nacua's return came in a game where they also handed the Vikings just their second defeat of the season will have proven extra sweet.
Puka Nacua's girlfriend Hailee Aiono was also present for his triumphant return, decked out in Rams merchandise complete with a foam finger. Aiono penned a heartfelt note for her boyfriend after the Rams' third win, saying:
"I am so proud of you puka baby. You never fail to amaze me. Another dub for our ramily!"
Nacua hauled in seven of his nine targets for 106 yards on Thursday night.
Who is Puka Nacua's girlfriend Hailee Aiono?
Per People Magazine, Nacua has been dating Aiono since 2021 when the WR was studying at Brigham Young University.
Aiono is reportedly of Polynesian descent.
“Aiono is a Samoan last name. There’s a ton of Aionos in the Samoan culture. It’s like the last name Smith,” her brother Alex explained in an interview with Hawaii Magazine.
Breaking down Rams' schedule ahead
With the TNF win, the Rams improved to 3-4 despite trade rumors linking Cooper Kupp and Matthew Stafford with moves away from the City of Angels.
In any case, the Rams' have a decent schedule to rack up a few more wins. They will face the Seattle Seahawks, Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots over the next few weeks before going up against the Eagles, Saints and Bills.
