Puka Nacua's girlfriend Hallie Aiono celebrates Rams' 21-14 dub as LA faces uphill climb to make playoffs
Puka Nacua's return to the Los Angeles Rams from a knee injury in Week 1 of the season has been a difference maker in the team's rebound. The Rams' aspirations at making a playoff run may still seem daunting, but a 21-14 win over the New Orleans Saints was a step in the right direction.
Puka Nacua's girlfriend, Hallie Aiono, celebrated Los Angeles' victory over New Orleans. She shared a photo of herself in front of a decorative wall that was customized with various Los Angeles sports teams' logos.
She celebrated the road win and said that she would see everyone at SoFi Stadium next weekend for a home game against the Buffalo Bills.
"@rams dub. See you next Sunday @sofi."-Hallie Aiono wrote on Instagram.
Puka Nacua had a solid day for Los Angeles with five catches for 56 yards and one touchdown. He also had one rushing attempt for seven yards.
In seven games this season, he has 42 catches for 546 yards and two touchdowns, and also has four rushing attempts for a total of 19 yards.
Can the LA Rams still make the NFL Playoffs?
After a Week 13 road win against the New Orleans Saints, the Los Angeles Rams are now 6-6 on the season. That record now has them tied for second place in the NFC West division, alongside the Arizona Cardinals. The 7-5 Seattle Seahawks currently lead the NFC West division rankings.
Do the Los Angeles Rams still have a realistic chance of making the 2024 NFL playoffs? According to Sportskeeda's NFL Playoff Predictor 2024, it's highly unlikely. The predictor's algorithm speculates Los Angeles to finish with an 8-9 record and the Seattle Seahawks to win the division with an 11-6 record.
The Playoff Predictor also has the Philadelphia Eagles clinching the number one overall seed with the Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons the other division winners. The simulation also has the Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers and Washington Commanders as the wild card teams.
Los Angeles will need to continue to win and hope that other NFC teams falter if they have any chance of making a playoff run. Facing the 10-2 Buffalo Bills who have clinched the division and a playoff spot won't be an easy task in Week 14.
