Raiders star left frustrated following team's meltdown loss to Steelers

Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs has had enough. After securing the services of receiver Davante Adams, the team was expected to become strong AFC playoff contenders.

But that hasn't happened as their season has been nothing but a disappointment. Now it appears running back Jacobs is at his wit's end with how the year is going.

Who is the favorite for the Super Bowl?

Sitting at 6-9 after yet another collapse against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Eve, the Raiders' season is over. Jacobs had this to say:

"I'm tired of dealing with this ... Every day I come here and bust my ass and I see the guys busting their ass and the result is not there. For me, the last four years, the result has not been there. And quite frankly, I don't know what else to do."
The losses are wearing on Jacobs:
"I'm tired of dealing with this ... Everyday I come here and bust my ass and I see the guys busting their ass and the result is not there.
"For me, the last 4 years, the result has not been there. And quite frankly, I don't know what else to do."

The running back totaled just 44 yards on 15 carries in the loss to Pittsburgh and it was visible from his emotions post-game that he has had enough. After Josh McDaniels' outfit declined to pick up his fifth-year option in the offseason, his future was shaky with the organization.

More from @Raiders RB Josh Jacobs, who was obviously angry after Saturday’s loss https://t.co/83PkNr3SMD

After his latest comments, it will be interesting to see how the higher-ups respond to it.

Josh Jacobs and Raiders have had a season to forget

Las Vegas v Pittsburgh in Week 16

In all but three games in 2022, the Raiders have been involved in one-score games. Unfortunately, the ball hasn't fallen their way. In those games, Derek Carr's team is 4-7.

Had just a few games gone their way, Las Vegas' outlook for the season could have been vastly different. On a personal level for Jacobs, his season has been superb, rushing for 1,539 yards and 11 touchdowns. But that has all counted for nothing as Las Vegas will miss the playoffs after making it last year.

Just where the player and the organization go from here is unknown. But for the running back, he wasn't shy about laying it all on the line after yet another poor loss to the Steelers.
