Rapper Cam'ron explains why Deion Sanders to Raiders will be match made in heaven
With Shedeur Sanders up for grabs in the NFL Draft of 2025, speculation is rife that his father and Colorado Buffaloes coach, Deion Sanders, will follow him to whichever team he lands in.
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and Prime Time are really close and with the Cowboys struggling to produce results under Mike McCarthy, many think he will end up in Dallas. Michael Irvin, the three-time Super Bowl Champion who played his entire career with the Cowboys, certainly seems to think so.
But rapper Cam'ron expressed a different opinion. According to him, the Las Vegas Raiders and Deion Sanders would be a match made in heaven.
"Prime would want the pressure on him, no matter where he's coaching at," Cam'ron said. "And I think he wants to be on the biggest stage. But I think bringing the Raiders back to prominence would be better than the Cowboys, 'cause the Cowboys are expected to do stuff every year, and it's just about finding the right coach or the right quarterback." But what about the Raiders current coach, Antonio Pierce?
"No disrespect 'cause I loved him when he played with the Giants," the rapper added. "He may be walking out the door anyway, whether Deion comes or not. He's out. 95% he's going to be out the door." (TS - 1:0:03 - 1:00:14)
Deion Sanders adamant he wouldn't be making the jump to the NFL
Michael Irvin asked Deion Sanders on FS1's Speak if he would be coming to the NFL along with his son, Shedeur Sanders, as head coach. Prime Time was clear. He wasn't done with college football and the Colorado Buffaloes.
"I love it where I am!"
However, as Irvin said on the Come and Talk 2 Me podcast, the more he says "no," the more zeroes Cowboys' owner Jerry Jones would add to his paycheck. Fans will just have to wait till the 2024 season winds up to find out if Deion Sanders comes over to Jerry's World or the Raiders or sticks with Colorado.
