“Refs are trying to give the game to LSU”- Cowboys star Micah Parsons chimes in on NCAA final showdown between Caitlin Clark’s Iowa and LSU

The NCAA Women's Basketball Championship game between LSU and Iowa has been one for the ages. While many Iowa fans may not be happy, Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons expressed his disappointment on social media.

With the game going down to the wire and every pass, decision and referee input magnified, Parsons knew what was at stake. The Cowboys star couldn't help himself because of the referee decisions that were being made.

Parsons took his frustrations to Twitter and hinted that the game's referees were trying to make LSU win.

Now we don't know exactly which calls Parsons is referring to, but one has certainly caught the eye. It involved Iowa star Caitlin Clark, who had a superb game, but was called for her fourth technical foul.

For what you ask? After the play was ruled dead, Clark simply tossed the ball away. Nothing to see there, right? Wrong, as the referees gave her a fourth technical foul. What is a foul? Watch below and judge for yourself.

When the commentators state that no player should be given a technical foul for that, you know that the call isn't right. But it was given as Clark had herself a sensational game as she knocked down seven 3-pointers, which set the NCAA Women's Championship record.

Clark finished with a game-high 30 points as Iowa lost 102-85.

Micah Parsons: No stranger to referee calls

While Caitlin Clark got called for a technical foul, when it comes to Micah Parsons, last season, there were virtually no holding calls against opposing offensive lineman.

Now, how do we know this? Simply due to NFL fans reactions on social media that Parsons was constantly being held and no flag was being thrown. Here are just a few.

Despite the "no calls", Parsons still had a superb second-year for the Cowboys, registering 13.5 sacks as he was a key member of Dan Quinn's unit.

We know that referees have a tough enough job as it is, but it is clear that fans think they are missing a lot of holding calls on Micah Parsons and made it known on social media.

Whether that will change next season is unknown, but if it doesn't, fans will certainly vent their frustrations.
