Rihanna addresses post-partum challenge of Super Bowl halftime show

Music superstar Rihanna has lifted the lid on what the physical toll of performing at the Super Bowl halftime show will have on her body. The 34-year-old gave birth to her son back in May of 2022 and is now gearing up for a show that will be watched by millions.

The Super Bowl halftime show, along with the game itself, is possibly the most-watched event on the NFL calendar. With so many eyes on her, the 34-year-old can't afford to make a mistake while singing or performing her likely multiple dance steps.

Who will win the Super Bowl?

The famous musician was speaking with Nadeska on Apple Music Radio when she revealed the physical challenges she will face after giving birth and hinted that the show might be hard on her body.

Rihanna said:

"The physical challenge has been immense. I haven’t done this in a minute, first things first. From the time it starts, it never ends until it’s the very last second. I know I sing too much but it’s a jam packed show and it takes a toll on your body, it does.”

Now, even for someone as talented as Rihanna, backing up after last year's Super Bowl halftime show is going to be a tough task. The likes of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dog, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige and Eminem blew the roof off SoFi Stadium and many are hoping that Rihanna does the same.

Just exactly what the star singer has in store for millions at home and those at the stadium remain a tightly kept secret, although she did state that she wants to mix in together all the music she has made.

While many look forward to the game of football that will crown the champions of the 2022-23 season, many more are looking forward to seeing what Rihanna does during her halftime show.
