Rob Gronkowski praises Travis Kelce for balancing Hollywood life and NFL dominance

Apart from his extensive NFL career, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce is working on making it big in Hollywood. The tight end has multiple movies, documentaries and game shows lined up, including the FX series "My Dead Friend Zoe and Grotesquerie," scheduled to be released in the upcoming months. However, some fans have been critical of his Hollywood ventures.

However, Patriots legend Rob Gronkowski feels that Kelce's off-field activities have had little impact on the tight end's on-field performance. Talking about the same, in an exclusive interview with US Weekly on Thursday, Gronkowski said:

"Travis Kelce has shown that the off-the-field stuff has not affected his game on the field. In the last two years, he has won the Super Bowl. How can you say it’s affected him when he’s a Super Bowl champion over the last two years and a three-time champion overall?”

While Travis Kelce is trolled for focusing on his Hollywood career, his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, also receives backlash for her appearances in Chiefs games. In fact, the singer has been labeled as a "distraction" by some NFL fans. Patrick Mahomes recently took a stand for the All Too Well singer against this claim.

Patrick Mahomes takes stands against "distraction" claims on Travis Kelce's girlfriend Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift's appearances at Chiefs games made headlines last season. While Swifties enjoyed her presence, some Chiefs fans found her as a distraction. In the latest trailer of America's Game season 19, the Chiefs quarterback appeared to dismiss such claims.

"People act like it was a distraction, I was like, 'No, this is just Travis, Man!'" Mahomes said.

While Mahomes might have dismissed the "distraction" claims against Taylor Swift, the quarterback did make some claims of his own. Last week, Mahomes went viral for claiming that Swift is drawing plays for the Chiefs. Recently, Travis Kelce revealed that Swift was open the learning the game.

"She has just been so open to learning the game she didn't know much about the rules and everything. And I think what makes her so good in her profession is that she's so detailed in every aspect of it from the words to the music to even the releases and the music videos and everything," Kelce said via 'Rich Eisen Show'. "She's so detailed in a part of it that I think she was just curious about the profession, and I don't think any of the plays have gotten to coach Reed. But if they ever do, I'll make sure everyone knows it was her creation," Kelce concluded.

Amidst Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's strong-going relationship, there were rumors last week pointing at the couple's break. However, the tight end's PR firm recently put an end to the rumors on September 3 by clarifying that the document that sparked them was fabricated.
