Russell Wilson and Ciara pen down heartwarming note for son Win's 4th birthday
Russell Wilson's son, Win Harrison, turned four on Tuesday. Wilson and his wife Ciara had something to say about it. The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback and Ciara each posted videos of them bonding with their son on Instagram.
"It brings my heart the sweetest joy to see how big you laugh, think, and love already! Everyday is a Win with you in our lives!" Ciara wrote.
"You light up every room with your joy and love for life. Keep shining!! Your name embodies triumph over every obstacle. You can do all things through Christ!!! You are blessed, anointed, and we love you to heaven & back!" Wilson wrote.
Win Harrison is the middle one among the couple's children, born between elder daughter Princess Sienna and younger daughter Princess Amora. Wilson also has a stepson, Future Zahir, from Ciara's past relationship with rapper Future.
Russell Wilson and his children recently joined Ciara on her concert tour
These days, Russell Wilson can be seen doing some drills in a Steelers uniform as he prepares to compete with Justin Fields for the starting job.
But he checked off one achievement before it happened: bringing himself and his children to Missy Elliott's Out of This World - The Experience concert tour, where Ciara is among the featured performers. Speaking to Harper's Bazaar about the experience, she said:
“Having my family and my babies with me brings me the greatest joy and comfort. I don’t know how I would get through a tour like this without having them with me—I think I would go crazy."
She continued:
"It brings me peace knowing that they are here with me, but also they are having so much fun and they get to see Mommy in full action in my element, so that they can understand what Mom is doing when she has to go and travel, and when I say ‘Mommy is working.’ And what’s been really sweet is that they really love my show, and they are also inspired by it.”
The tour is expected to last until August 23. Wilson, meanwhile, will play his first snap as a Steeler on August 9 against the Houston Texans.
