Saints DT Khalen Saunders, brother of Taylor Swift's backup dancer, recaps gameday experience with singer in KC

Even though the New Orleans Saints lost to the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday, defensive tackle Khalen Saunders had a great time playing in front of his brother Kameron. The game was quite special for the Saints DT as his brother rooted for him instead of his boss Taylor Swift's Chiefs.

In Thursday's episode of REARVIEW, Khalen opened up about his experience playing in the presence of Taylor Swift. The defensive tackle said:

"With my mother and us being from one household. But you know, different interests kind of just merged, and just that connection means it's really crazy. Especially with Travis and Taylor. We all met, and it just so happened that [Kameron's] dancing for her, and now I am on the Saints, and if I was still on the Chiefs, it would have been cool to have them root together."
"But that's just so how it worked having her there, you know, going to some Super Bowls. I'm sure I've played in front of some pretty big stars, but having a connection to her and playing in front of her was pretty cool," Saunders further added.

Khalen Saunders had a great game on Monday, especially against Travis Kelce, who got tacked by him in the third quarter. Following the game, Kameron pulled a friendly dig on Kelce after getting beaten by Khalen.

Following the MNF game, Khalen Saunders' brother Kameron penned a message on Instagram, praising the Saints defensive tackle. The message ended with friendly shots at Travis Kelce. Sharing his experience watching Khalen play, Taylor Swift's dancing crew member said:

"'Proud' doesn’t feel strong enough a word to describe my feelings! Because… WTF! 🤯 Moment and history made!!! I am HONORED to have seen it in person and watch the world finally catch up to the absolute BEAST you are. Glad the camera didn’t cut to me after that play cuz I was screaming and jumping like a maniac! 😂 I love you with everything in me!!!"

The Saints have lost three consecutive games. After Monday's loss, the team will be looking forward to redeeming itself against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Do you think the Saints will be able to beat the Buccaneers?
