"She's garbage": Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert's wife Devon attacks Kamala Harris over 'bulls**t' Hurricane Milton blame game
Raheem Mostert's wife, Devon, isn't holding back when it comes to accountability during a national crisis. With Hurricane Helene and now Hurricane Milton ravaging the East Coast, tensions are running high.
While many athletes and their partners are using their influence and money to help hurricane victims, some believe politicians are shirking their responsibility. This sentiment was voiced by Devon, who took to Instagram to criticize Vice President Kamala Harris.
Reports indicate that Ron DeSantis, the governor of Florida, one of the hardest hit by the hurricanes, refused to pick up the VP's call regarding Hurricane Milton.
DeSantis claimed that Harris was trying to politicize the situation because she was in the running for the President's office.
Devon commented on the story:
"She's garbage. Textbook trash. No one has time, Kamala- especially not for her to say some bulls**t like, "we can be unburdened, by what has been."
Devon Mostert rallies support for hurricane victims
Devon Mostert has been very proactive in gathering support for victims of the two hurricanes that have devasted the country.
Earlier, she shared a post by the Sieler Safe Haven Foundation and Mercy Chefs. The Foundation was organizing a fundraiser wherein each donation of $100 would be eligible for a raffle. Two winners would be picked to receive tickets to Taylor Swift's concert at the Miami Dolphins' home stadium on Oct. 18.
Devon said she's been finding it difficult to sleep knowing what's going on in her state. Earlier today, she posted an Instagram story saying:
"I can't even lie. My heart is already heavy. I legit couldn't sleep from 2:30 am to 5:00 am, fell asleep for 30 mins and had to wake up and get the boys ready for school. Thinking so hard about those who had to evacuate their homes and I have no idea if they'll even come home to one."
The Dolphins have their bye this week, and no NFL game will be played in Florida till Oct. 27, when Miami takes on the Arizona Cardinals at 1:00 PM EST.
