Simone Biles casts doubt over how she will support Jonathan Owens on Bears gamedays
Gymnast Simone Biles just got back from the Paris Olympics, where she helped Team USA win gold in the team event as well as two gold and one silver medal in individual events. After returning, she traveled to Chicago to support her husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens.
On Saturday, she recorded a TikTok video about getting ready for the Bears preseason game. She mentioned that she doesn't know how many games she will be able to attend in the next few months.
Biles and other members of the United States gymnastics team are going on the "Gold Over America Tour," where they will showcase their skills and talents to fans across the country.
“I’m not sure how many games I’ll be able to make because in a few weeks we go on tour. If you guys aren’t aware, I host the Gold Over America Tour and I think we’re doing about 32 stops,” said Biles.
The "Gold Over America Tour" will arrive in Chicago on September 29 at 7:00, the same day the Chicago Bears will host the Los Angeles Rams at Soldier Field at 12:00.
Although Simone Biles is unsure how many games she will be able to attend this season, Jonathan Owens is already planning a celebration to honor her. On HBO's "Hard Knocks," the Bears safety's teammate suggested he do a flip.
Simone Biles shows support for Jonathan Owens with custom jacket
Simone Biles was in attendance at Soldier Field on Saturday afternoon to watch the Chicago Bears defeat the Cincinnati Bengals 27-3. Biles was seen walking on the sidelines before the game with a boot on her left leg as she continues to rehabilitate a calf injury she suffered during the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Biles shared photos of her gameday look and experience on her Instagram.
“bear down”
Biles wore a black-and-white jacket that featured images of Jonathan Owens throughout his career. However, the images showed him wearing a Green Bay Packers jersey when he played with the NFC North rival last season. She paired the look with black one-piece activewear and a black bucket hat.
According to now-deleted Instagram stories, Biles and Owens then enjoyed dinner together at a local Chicago restaurant called "Maple & Ash."
