Simone Biles opens up about Thanksgiving plans with Jonathan Owens ahead of Bears vs Lions clash
It's Thanksgiving and Jonathan Owens' wife Simone Biles is all set to spend the festival with the Bears' safety. On Wednesday, Biles sat in an exclusive interview with US Weekly, during which she opened up about her Thanksgiving plans. Biles explained how she is planning to fly to Michigan to cheer Owens at the Ford Field stadium against the Detroit Lions.
"I’ll fly up in the morning and fly right back, just so we can still spend Thanksgiving together. Holidays are revolving around sports right now, especially in the football world with them sometimes playing," she said.
"We’ll just have a chef come and cook. I think some of his teammates will come through and grab a plate, especially if they don’t have family in the area. It is a little bit more difficult, but it is kind of nice that we can just relax," Biles added.
Simone Biles shared excitement to shift to new Houston home with Jonathan Owens
Jonathan Owens and Simone Biles have been constructing a new property in Houston. However, there's still some time left before the couple can shift to the luxurious mansion.
"At this point, we’ve waited so long for it to be built, we’ll just wait until after the [NFL] season to move in," Biles said. "Right now, they’re doing all of the backyard stuff. Jonathan wanted a half-basketball court, a barbeque pit, all of the good stuff. We did put an in-ground trampoline and a pool. We should be closing fairly soon. I go in two weeks to check on it again to see where we are. But we’re literally almost there."
The Chicago Bears will be facing the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving at the Ford Stadium in Michigan. The Bears have lost the last five games and would be looking forward to snap the skid. Do you think the Bears will succeed in beating the Lions?
