Simone Biles was warned against wearing Packers jacket to husband Jonathan Owens' Bears game

Simone Biles' husband, Jonathan Owens, signed a two-year contract with the Chicago Bears in 2024. The Olympic gold medalist, however, forgot to switch to Chicago merchandise during the preseason.

Attending a Bears game to support Owens, Simone Biles was under fire for wearing a Green Bay Packers jacket. Most NFL fans were upset over her gesture, even wondering if she forgot Owens no longer played for Green Bay.

However, according to Tuesday's episode of HBO’s "Hard Knocks," Biles' friend warned her against wearing the jacket.

“I would be taking that jacket off if I were you,” her friend said.

Biles, of course, didn't pay heed to the warning.

Of course, a few fans did speak in Biles' support. According to fans, the most decorated gymnast in the world can wear any jacket she prefers.

Biles, on her end, is yet to respond to hate sent her way over her jacket choice. In fact, she even showed off her outfit while at the Chicago Bears-Cincinnati Bengals game at Soldier Field Stadium.

"Bear down," Biles wrote in her caption.

With mismatched shoes and a black dress, Biles used a grey jacket and a bucket hat to complete her look.

Simone Biles may not be in stadium to support Jonathan Owens at Bears games

Having wrapped up the Paris Olympics, Simone Biles has some free time before the US gymnastics team leaves for the 'Gold Over America Tour.' The team will showcase their talents to fans across the country during this tour.

With the NFL 2024 season beginning, it might be a little difficult for Biles to make it to all games.

“I’m not sure how many games I’ll be able to make because in a few weeks we go on tour. If you guys aren’t aware, I host the Gold Over America Tour and I think we’re doing about 32 stops,” Biles said in a TikTok video.

The tour will arrive in Chicago on September 29. On the same day, the Bears will be hosting the Los Angeles Rams at Soldier Field.

They will open the 2024 season on September 8 against the Tennessee Titans.
