Simone Biles warns haters who questioned husband Jonathan Owens after Bears star's viral interview: "Don't come for my family"

Simone Biles wasn't impressed with haters questioning her husband Jonathan Owens' behavior.

The Chicago Bears star was previously on The Pivot podcast, referring to himself as a catch while discussing his marriage to Biles. Apparently, the NFL safety didn't know who the Olympic gold medalist was before they got into a relationship.

There was an instant backlash for Owens' words, with fans even asking Biles to divorce him.

In her recent interview with TODAY, Biles spoke about the criticism, warning everyone to not speak against her family:

"That really hurt that they were talking about my husband like that because for me, it's like, talk about me all you want, but don't come for my family. Never," she said.

Discussing Owens' podcast interview, Biles added that he 'worships' the ground she walks on, and anyone who knows him is aware of how sweet he is:

"It's like, this is his moment. That's his interview. What was I supposed to interrupt that interview and be like, 'Hey, da da da.'
"So I thought it was hilarious at first and then they hurt my feelings. One night, I broke down and I'm like, 'why are you guys talking about my husband like this? You don't know him, you don't know who he is, and if anybody's met him, they know he's the sweetest guy and will do anything for anybody.'"
