Taylor Swift has "perfect" reaction as Travis Kelce's 70-yard night extends Chiefs' winning streak
Taylor Swift was in attendance as the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the New Orleans Saints 26-13 on Monday night to remain unbeaten in the 2024 season. Travis Kelce was a key contributor to the win. He had more yards in this game (70) than he had in the last three combined (69).
After the game, the multi-platinum pop superstar appeared in an Instagram Story by Mecole Hardman Jr.'s fiancee Chariah Gordon to deliver her verdict. She gave a simple descriptor reacting to Gordon's summary of the game:
"Perfect is the word."
Late in the first half, ESPN/ABC's cameras caught glimpses of her cheering on Kelce from the suites of GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
Bill Belichick unhappy with Taylor Swift’s overexposure during Chiefs-Saints ManningCast
Not everyone is happy with the amount of attention that Taylor Swift is getting during the games. One of them is Bill Belichick, and he made it clear while covering the Chiefs-Saints matchup with Peyton and Eli Manning on the ManningCast.
During one of her celebratory moments, the former New England Patriots head coach said:
"Ugh. Big first half for Kelce. Too big. Too big."
The Manning brothers chuckled at the comment afterward.
Ironically, Belichick wore a Swift sweatshirt during a recent outing with his 23-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hutson. He was forced to address this during Monday’s episode of "The Pat McAfee Show," saying:
"I don't have any idea about that. I have on a Washington sweatshirt right now left over from the Huskie weekend."
In August, the six-time Super Bowl champion had also spoken about the singer-songwriter, calling her “impressive” for pushing on with one of her concerts at the Patriots’ home of Gillette Stadium despite torrential rain. He also claimed that he could relate to the lyrics of “You Need to Calm Down” from her 2019 album Lover.
