Taylor Swift risks major security concern to support Travis Kelce following Eras Tour conclusion

Taylor Swift just wrapped up her record-breaking Eras Tour last week in Canada after a year-and-a-half journey around the globe. Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs clinched the AFC West division last week and are eyeing the number one overall seed in the AFC.

Although Swift's schedule has slowed down, Kelce's is ramping up, which, according to the Daily Mail, has led the couple to a decision of where they will spend the holidays. The Daily Mail and The Sun both reported that Swift has decided to spend the next few weeks in Kansas City with Kelce.

"She will be going to Kansas City and staying there for some time during the next few weeks to be with Travis and show him love and support. She wants to witness another potential championship season for the Chiefs. Travis is the one that now has the busiest schedule of the two of them," a source told The Sun.

The news is surprising only in part due to Kelce's home being the target of a crime ring back in October. The intruders broke into the Kansas City Chiefs tight end's home on his birthday while he was at a charity event with his family. A total of $20,000 in cash, $100,000 in jewelry, and a Super Bowl jersey were also stolen. A watch that belonged to Kelce was reportedly recovered in Rhode Island.

Kelce has increased security since the break-in, and Swift also has regular security details at all times, so that should keep his home safe while they are there.

Taylor Swift's visit to Kansas City included a stop at a children's hospital

Shortly after wrapping up her tour in Vancouver, Canada, Swift was spotted in Kansas City. The Grammy-winning singer made a surprise stop at the Children's Mercy Hospital on December 12, the day before her 35th birthday.

Swift took photos with young patients and their families and spent time speaking with each of them. Swift autographed copies of her The Eras Tour book for patients and gave her well wishes to them.

One parent, whose child received a visit from Swift, shared on social media that Kelce was also there but didn't stop in patient rooms. The Kansas City tight end was a topic of conversation with one patient. The child told Swift that they became a fan of Kelce when they began dating, which brought smiles and laughs to all in the room.
