Tee Higgins delivers hilarious take on Joe Burrow's blonde buzz cut
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow styled a completely new look when he reported to training camp this week. The 27-year-old arrived with a blonde buzz cut, a much different style than his normal brown locks.
On Wednesday, his teammate, wide receiver Tee Higgins, was asked about his quarterback's new hairstyle. Higgins thought about it for a second, smiled, pointed to a reporter and jokingly said that Burrow now looks like him. After gaining some chuckles around the locker room, he said that if Burrow likes the look of his hair, then he does too.
"It look like yours. If he like it, I like it," he said.
Higgins, Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals offense are looking for a fresh start in 2024. Burrow dealt with a calf injury and then a season-ending wrist injury that he has now been cleared for.
As for Tee Higgins, he could likely be playing his final season in Cincinnati unless both parties can come to terms with a contract extension.
Joe Burrow revealed reason for new look at training camp
Joe Burrow's new hairstyle has left fans and reporters with questions. The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback spoke to reporters about his decision to change his look, which started with a conversation with defensive tackle B.J. Hill.
During the conversation, Hill said that he would buzz cut and bleach his hair if Burrow did so. The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback did so and is now waiting for his teammate to do the same.
"B.J. said that if I buzzed it and bleached it, he would do it, too. So now everybody's gotta hold him accountable 'cause he's gotta do it in the next week," Burrow said.
During the training camp media availability, Joe Burrow said that it was simply boredom that convinced him to go through with the change in hairstyle.
"I got bored, that's about it," he said.
Before boredom drove him to shave and bleach his hair, Burrow took a quick trip to France with former LSU wide receiver Justin Jefferson. The two went to exhibitions during Paris Fashion Week, and the quarterback even walked the runway during the Vogue World presentation.
