Tom Brady challenges Dak Prescott after $240,000,000 Cowboys extension

Tom Brady has high expectations for Dak Prescott in 2024. Back to football as a broadcaster with Fox, Brady made his debut during the Dallas Cowboys' season opener.

Naturally, Brady spoke about Prescott's lucrative $240 million deal with the Cowboys. A seven-time Super Bowl winner and often referred to as the NFL GOAT, Brady is excited to see where Prescott's contract leads him.

"Now he's gotta go out there and earn it. 2023 was his best season. Going forward it's going to be what happens in the postseason," Brady said.

In May, Brady made another comment on Prescott, wondering if the Cowboys QB can finally come through for his team.

“Obviously, having the Cowboys on is a huge draw, as America’s team,” Brady said at the Fox presentation. “That’s gonna get a little hard for me to say that all the time. I understand. They were the competition for a long time, but in this new role, I know the Cowboys, how important they are to this network. They’ve got great storylines. Come on, Dak Prescott, let’s see if he can finally come through.”

That being said, fans remain divided over Prescott's contract, hoping he steps up for the team in 2024.

Dak Prescott is ready to win after signing mega deal with Dallas Cowboys

After agreeing to his gameday deal with the Cowboys, Dak Prescott reportedly sent a text to team insider Clarence Hill Jr.

While this sums up Prescott's attitude and motivation for the 2024 season, it's important to note that the Cowboys have agreed to big paychecks in the past week. CeeDee Lamb's $136 million deal stands right next to Prescott's contract.

Furthermore, this also makes Prescott the highest-paid QB in the league, earning $60 million per year.
