Tom Brady divorce "out of bounds" during Rams vs Buccaneers, says Jim Nantz
Quarterback Tom Brady and his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen officially announced their divorce last Friday. Brady's personal life has been the hottest topic of conversation since training camp, and it has also been blamed for his and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' poor performances on the field.
However, fans won't hear CBS Sports longtime broadcaster Jim Nantz mention it this Sunday when he calls the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Los Angeles Rams game alongside Tony Romo.
As a guest on the Sports Illustrated media podcast, Nantz said Brady's divorce won't be a topic of conversation during the broadcast.
“That story has been hovering throughout the season, I’ve watched the games and haven’t really heard anyone address it. I kind of feel like that’s out of bounds. It’s his personal life. Tom’s a friend. I wish him well and his family well. I’m gonna be there to cover a football game, I want to be respectful.”
Brady is clearly struggling on the field too. This season is the first time in 20 years that the quarterback has lost four straight games as his team sits at 3-5. While the Los Angeles Rams have always been a tough opponent for the Bucs, they are 3-4 through their first seven games of the season.
How much is Tom Brady currently worth?
