Tom Brady gets candid about maintaining a healthy perspective post divorce with Gisele Bundchen
Tom Brady's had a rough year, personally and professionally. While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB continues to struggle on the field, he also confirmed his divorce from supermodel Gisele Bundchen. Together since 2006, it was clearly a difficult change for Brady and his family.
Despite the unfortunate circumstances, Brady has maintained a positive attitude towards the same. The former couple has decided to co-parent their children, while making sure to grow individually and work better.
Both Bundchen and Brady have continued to make headlines, with fans focused on their relationship even as the season began. However, Brady and Bundchen have seldom addressed the rumors or their divorce directly.
During a recent episode of Tom Brady's Let’s Go! podcast, the 45-year-old spoke about his mental health and how his personal life seeped into other areas. Irrespective of the disturbance, Brady is dealing with the situation with a process.
“I think there’s so many ways for me that it just keeps great perspective for me in my life. Why have I done it for as long as I have? You know, physically, I’ve explained that and I’ve tried to take care of myself."
"I think as you get older the challenges really come in, you know — because we can get distracted by other parts of life. And not distracted in a bad way but there’s priorities that take over."
He continued:
"So I’ve tried my best over the years to maintain what’s important to me. And been very fortunate to play a sport that I love."
Bundchen, on her end, has been seen traveling and working, even moving into a house close to Brady's in Miami.
Did Tom Brady miss daughter Vivian's 10th birthday party?
Earlier this week, Brady and Gisele's daughter Vivian turned 10. Often seen celebrating birthdays with a lot of heart and style, Bundchen took Vivian and some of their friends to Disneyland. The small group seemed to have fun at the amusement park, with the 42-year-old model sharing small glimpses of their day on Instagram.
Brady, however, was apparently not at the party. With a Bucs game approaching, it was highly unlikely that he made it to the party. But he didn't miss his daughter's birthday. Brady made sure to wish Vivian a happy birthday in a sweet post of his own:
"Happy 10th Birthday Vivi! We adore you and your beautiful heart ❤️! You bring so much joy to our life! We love you."
Gisele, who has been interacting with Tom Brady online, replied to the post with a simple heart.
