Tom Brady gets involved in $1 million lawsuit after Patriots fan sued Hall of Fame

Tom Brady has found himself in the headlines a lot of late for matters off the field, including his charity and his divorce from Gisele Bündchen. The 45-year-old quarterback is also entangled in a million-dollar lawsuit after a New England Patriots fan sued the team's Hall of Fame.

Longtime Patriots fan Daniel Vitale was livid after he temporarily donated the 1-of-1 American flag to the Patriots Hall of Fame. He claimed that officials at the Hall of Fame ruined Brady's signature on the flag by showing it improperly. Vitale shared pictures of the flag, showing Brady's dark blue signature from the early 2000's, which had lost its "T" after being in the museum's custody.

The ultra-rare flag signed by the the three-time NFL MVP that was supposedly ruined by the team's Hall of Fame has been re-signed by the quarterback. Vitale now says he feels like he's been made whole after Brady re-signed the flag.

Vitale told TMZ Sports that the situation has now been resolved after the New England Patriots asked Tom Brady to re-sign the flag. Vitale has a daughter who has autism and plans to contribute funds from the sale of the flag to raise awareness.

He also said that he's hoping to get both the Patriots and owner Robert Kraft to make a donation to the cause.

Tom Brady's two decades of dominance with the New England Patriots

Tom Brady is a major part of Patriots history, which is why the signature had so much significance. The University of Michigan alum played 20 seasons with New England. He helped the franchise win their first Super Bowl in his second season in the NFL.

In all, Tom Brady won six Super Bowls in nine appearances with the Patriots. His time there was extremely dominant. Many believe that former quarterbacks such as Ben Roethlisberger and Peyton Manning would have played in many more Super Bowls if it weren't for Brady.

Needless to say, he's the franchise's all-time leader in passing yards (74,571 yards) and touchdowns (541). Brady is, of course, their best postseason quarterback with 11,338 yards, 73 touchdowns, and 35 interceptions during his time with the Patriots. In March 2020, he took his talents to the Buccaneers and won the Super Bowl in his debut season with the franchise.

The future Hall of Famer has had an incredible career and seems set to play for as long as he can. Brady is in the headlines for events on and off the field on a daily basis and the NFL will be a strange place when he does eventually retire.
