With Gisele Bündchen in Costa Rica, Tom Brady takes kids out for pizza after win vs Rams
Since his divorce, Tom Brady has been undefeated (2-0) in his last two outings with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The highly-publicized breakup of power couple Brady and Gisele Bündchen dominated the news cycle in recent weeks.
However, this has not prevented the star quarterback from spending time with his kids. While Bündchen appears to be vacationing in Costa Rica with a friend, Brady is spending his free time with his kids.
The future Hall of Famer, who adheres to his own strict diet regimen, does not pass up a chance for good pizza. On Wednesday during the Buccaneers’ bye week, the quarterback was spotted in New York City with his kids enjoying pizza at Dellarocco’s.
One witness described Brady having a good time:
“Brady was having lunch with his kids… They were happy and enjoying an array of delicious pizzas.”
The Tom Brady TB12 diet does not leave any room for comfort foods with ingredients such as dairy, sugar, flour, or drinks like coffee. However, when it comes to pizza with his kids, the cheat food appears to be top of the list for the former New England Patriots quarterback.
Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers push for the playoffs on the heels of his divorce
The NFC South is not exactly a juggernaut division. Despite the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ record at 5-5, the team sits atop the division while the Atlanta Falcons are behind them at 4-6. The Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints are both 3-6 and do not seem to be immediate threats to the Buccaneer’s push for claiming the division and a playoff spot.
The defense is slowly getting healthier and Brady’s receiving corps is also slowly getting healthier. Chris Godwin is rounding into shape from his ACL injury last season, Julio Jones recorded two solid starts lately, and Mike Evans leads the group.
Rookie running back Rashaad White has also taken on a bigger role in the running game. He provides some speed and explosiveness to complement Leonard Fournette.
Divorce is always tough for every party involved. Nonetheless, Tom Brady will look to channel any positive vibes from spending time with his kids to making a big, final push towards another Super Bowl berth.
