Tom Brady hit with bullying allegation after latest revelation on QB’s relationship with Raiders HC Josh McDaniels

Tom Brady has been accused of bullying his former offensive coordinator while he was in New England. Brady and Josh McDaniels, the Las Vegas Raiders head coach, worked together for a long time, but former NFL quarterback David Carr believes it wasn't a good pairing.

He said that McDaniels and Brady clashed and that the offense ran what Brady wanted and not what the coach wanted. If that didn't happen, the legendary quarterback would go a level higher to make sure it did.

Wow! David Carr @DCarr8 on @Raiders coach Josh McDaniels: Tom Brady “bullied” Josh in New England and suggests Brady ran the offense. Carr also says McDaniels wants a “jugs machine” as his next QB via @HarvesterSports #RaiderNation https://t.co/lD9tKwas9u

Carr said:

"This is just my opinion. ... In New England, Tom Brady ran the show. So he was able to bully Josh [McDaniels] and he would just say, 'This is what we're going to do.' If Josh said no, he would go to Bill [Belichick]'s office. If Bill said no, he'd go to Robert Kraft. 'Trade Jimmy Garoppolo, I don't need him in here. He's going to be a problem.' Jimmy Garoppolo is traded."

He continued, saying that he believes McDaniels is looking for something very specific in his next quarterback:

"I think Josh. ... he's going to get a guy, not that he can control, but that he can tell where to throw the ball, that has some physical tools, that can make some plays in the run game, that can push the ball down the field, but all I need is a jugs machine.
"You give me a guy that can just shoot rockets and run it a little bit. I'll point the rocket launcher in the right direction."

Brady was not that, nor was Derek Carr, who was recently cut by McDaniels' Raiders. David Carr might have some insider information from his brother who played under McDaniels, but this is mostly his opinion on the matter.

Is Tom Brady going to play for the Las Vegas Raiders?

This indictment makes it seem like Tom Brady would never play for Josh McDaniels again. Fortunately, he's retired and won't have to.

Still, rumors were that the Raiders were going to go all in on Brady and sign him as a free agent this off-season. Had they done that, it might not have worked well with what McDaniels wanted to do again.
