Tom Brady keeps low profile as NFL legend sneaks into NYC sushi spot with son Jack
Before starting his full-time sports commentator job with Fox, Tom Brady is spending as much free time as he has with kids. On Tuesday, The New England Patriots Hall of Famer was spotted with elder son Jack in New York City.
According to PageSix, the father-son duo went for dinner at a Japanese restaurant in Tribeca, New York. The two reportedly arrived between 6:30 pm and 7 pm and stayed for almost an hour and a half.
The NFL legend was spotted in a matching white button-down shirt and trousers paired with sunglasses. Brady's son Jack, on the other hand, wore jeans and a T-shirt with sneakers. The owner of the restaurant was interviewed by PageSix.
The Patriots described Jack as a "super tall kid" before calling him "taller than his dad." The father-son duo ordered Brussels sprouts with spicy tuna crispy rice, salmon aburi nigiri, O-Toro nigiri and shrimp tempura maki rolls.
"They sat across from each other. Tom was talking to him about football and his own experiences, and he was schooling his son about the game, smiling as the son talked," a source reported to PageSix.
Jack's full name is John Edward Thomas Moynahan; his mother is Tom Brady's ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan. Brady also has a son called Benjamin and a daughter named Vivian, who the former Patriots quarterback shares with ex-wife Gisele Bundchen.
Tom Brady wants to be a father to his kids like his dad was to him
Tom Brady is highly inspired by his dad Thomas Brady Sr. The Hall of Famer wants to be as good a father to his kids as his dad was to him. Brady talked about it in detail on Father's Day.
Last month, Tom Brady penned down a heartwarming note on Instagram on Father's Day and included pictures with his kids and father Thomas. In the note, Brady expressed how he wants to give everything to his kids, just like his father.
"THANK YOU, to these kids for giving me the gift of being a father, a joy that I could have never imagined until you came into my life. I hope that I can give you all that my dad gave me… unconditional love and support," Brady had said.
Brady was inducted as a Patriots Hall of Famer last month, and in an interview post-event, he revealed plans to travel with his kids before starting his Fox reporting gig.
