Tom Brady lands in Paris for Carlos Alcaraz-Novak Djokovic epic Olympic gold medal showdown

Tom Brady regularly shows his interest in other sports apart from football. Now, the seven-time Super Bowl champion has touched down in Paris to witness the epic conclusion of the men’s singles tennis at the Olympics, where Carlos Alcaraz of Spain will take on Novak Djokovic of Serbia.

The former New England Patriots QB has followed tennis closely over the years, and in particular, Djokovic. So it should not come as a surprise that Brady decided to attend this game. The Serbian will attempt to enter his name with the greats of the game in the Golden Slam club.

Carlos Alcaraz will do his best to stop the 24-time Grand Slam title winner and go for Gold himself. Brady is set for an action-packed day of tennis and he took to Instagram to let his fans know. He captioned his arrival on his Instagram story:

“Let’s go Paris 2024.”

Will Tom Brady witness Novak Djokovic win a Golden Slam?

A Golden Slam is when a player has won all four Grand Slam tournaments (Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open) and Olympic Gold. Novak Djokovic already has the majors under his belt, but not a gold medal. Steffi Graf, Andrew Agassi, Rafael Nadal, and Serena Williams have all won Golden Slams, but Djokovic has yet to achieve it.

In 2023, Djokovic has said he has taken inspiration from Brady's longevity (as per Travel Sports):

"Why stop when you are still playing great? So I will keep going. I know (Brady) personally as well, and I learnt from him, from his example, and, hopefully, I can have a career that goes up to 40 and maybe even beyond, let's see."

Now, the Serbian will look to emulate Brady's success on the Olympic stage.
