“Yeah, that’s it” – Tom Brady leaves Gisele Bundchen out of post-game speech

Tom Brady has historically thanked his entire family at times. However, after defeating the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, a fan caught a dig the quarterback may have thrown at his ex-wife. In a clip posted to Twitter, the quarterback gave a shoutout to several members of his family by name but left out Gisele Bundchen in a somewhat backhanded fashion.

Here's how he put it:

"I want to say 'hi' to Jack, Benny, and Vivi at home and I love them so much and uh, yeah, that's it."

He paused after listing his kids and likely where he would have put Gisele Bundchen's name, but instead opted not to mention her. Whether it was because he knew saying her name would invite another question from the interviewer or whether it was done intentionally, only the quarterback knows.

Brady really shouted out to all his kids and left Gisele out 🤣 https://t.co/gmwvRjArV2

Tom Brady's many changes in 2022

Whether professionally or at home, Tom Brady has seen a lot of massive changes in 2022. This time last year, Brady was defending a Super Bowl title. Following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' playoff exit to the Los Angeles Rams, Brady retired.

During the absence, it was rumored that he had come close to buying into the Miami Dolphins. When that failed to materialize, he returned to football. Soon after that, he decided on what his next job was going to be when he does retire from the NFL. Brady signed a ten-year, $375 million deal with FOX Sports to call games following his retirement.

Although he showed up for training camp, Brady ultimately missed 11 days due to personal reasons. Hanging over a poor start to the 2022 season were multiple rumors of conflict in his marriage. The rumors proved true and Brady and Gisele announced they were getting a divorce, much to the dismay of many of their fans.

The divorce has thrown into doubt the idea that the legendary quarterback is soon to retire. Tom Brady himself seems intent on playing as long as he's able, with the likely desire to retire after a Super Bowl win. With the Buccaneers tenuously topping the NFC South with a 4-5 record, whether that will be this season remains to be seen.
