“Tom Brady is not going to be in this game late” - NFL analyst predicts clear result from 49ers-Buccaneers showdown

Tom Brady is coming off one of the most celebrated wins of his career that didn't end with a Lombardi Trophy ceremony. However, with the San Francisco 49ers on the horizon, the time for celebration has ended. On top of that, one NFL analyst has predicted that this weekend's tilt will not go the same way.

Speaking on Get Up, Ryan Clark expressed expectations that there will be no comeback this week:

"Tom Brady is not going to be in this game late... When you have one of those games where you have to come back into the post-game press conference and say, 'You know what, that was f**king awesome.' You say that because you know you're not supposed to win."

He continued, outlining expectations of a one-tone game coming up:

"The Tampa Bay Buccaneers weren't supposed to beat the depleted New Orleans Saints. They found a way late. But that doesn't carry over when you're playing a team like the San Francisco 49ers that are that sound, that good on defense, and that skilled offensively."

How have Tom Brady and the Buccaneers played over the last month?

Over the last four weeks, the team has played three games and enjoyed a bye. However, in their last four games, the team is 3-1. It is the first 3-1 stretch of the season for Tom Brady.

Tom Brady has 71 touchdowns and zero… ZERO interceptions in the redzone since joining the Bucs in 2020.

Do people realize how insane that is? https://t.co/bttoDQg7tR

Their first win of the stretch came against the Los Angeles Rams when No. 12 led an unlikely late comeback to win the game. Then, in Germany, the quarterback faced the Seattle Seahawks.

Making last night that much more improbable: Teams are now 4-551 when trailing by 13 or more points in the final four minutes in the last five seasons, including playoffs. Half of those four wins have come in the last four days, courtesy of Tom Brady and Baker Mayfield.

In what was later described as a 'Super Bowl atmosphere' by many, the legendary quarterback led his best game of the season. He and his team coasted to a better-than-appearance 21-16 win in which he completed more than 75 percent of his throws.

Next, Brady took the lone loss of the stretch, succumbing to Jacoby Brissett and the Cleveland Browns in overtime by a score of 23-17. Most recently, on Monday Night Football, he uncorked a 13-point comeback at the end of the fourth quarter against the New Orleans Saints.

Are the Buccaneers finding their groove, losing only in overtime in the last month? Or are they just on a lucky streak?
