“Guys are practicing their as**s off” – Tom Brady rubbishes rumors of Buccaneers’ lack of effort ahead of Week 15 showdown vs Joe Burrow’s Bengals
In Week 15, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will face a tough test in the Cincinnati Bengals. The Buccaneers are coming off a 28-point loss to the San Francisco 49ers and tough tests aren't exactly welcome at this point in the season.
The Bengals, on the other hand, are on a five-game winning streak and are widely expected to win on Sunday. The Buccaneers' efforts have been questioned on several occasions, but Brady has defended his colleagues, claiming that everyone is working really hard.
Here's what Brady said about his team's efforts ahead of the game vs. the Cincinnati Bengals:
"I guess maybe it's one of the strengths there's no lack of quit, there's no lack of fight, guys are practicing their a***s off. We're trying to work hard to make make the right improvements..."
He continued:
"Every day you're challenging the sport, you know? You get up every day and your body feels a certain way in your mind and your confidence in your man you got to go coordinate that was everyone else's body and confidence and attitude and you're trying to string together..."
Brady added:
"It's really rewarding when it pays off. And when it doesn't pay off, it sucks. But that's like all of our jobs. You know, when it doesn't go the way you want. It sucks and we got to camp stand up here and answer questions about why it's not going great..."
Although the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are trying hard to improve, injuries on the field have slowed their development. Key players will still be out in the game against the Cincinnati Bengals, making their task much more difficult.
We will see if Tom Brady can inspire his teammates as he has done throughout his career.
Is Tom Brady facing his heir in Week 15?
Many people believe Joe Burrow is the next Tom Brady because he has displayed the same calmness and precision as Brady in his young NFL career. In addition. Burrow has also been clutch.
Sunday's game will be entertaining to watch since Joe Burrow will be facing Brady for the first time in his career. The Bengals quarterback has already defeated Patrick Mahomes three times, and Cincinnati head into this game as the favorites.
It wil be interesting to see who comes out on top in this one.
