Tom Brady's final Patriots pass football opens with $122,000 bid at online auction: Report

Tom Brady helped create a dynasty in New England through his two decades with the Patriots. Although he broke records and brought six Lombardi Trophies back to New England, he probably wants to forget his last pass as a member of the Patriots.

In the 2019 AFC wild-card round, Brady threw an interception right into the hands of Logan Ryan, who played for the Tennessee Titans at the time. The former NFL defensive back then ran it back for a touchdown to help secure the victory over the Patriots. Ryan kept the ball and now fans get to bid on the memento and have a piece of NFL history.

Ryan and Brady became teammates in 2022 when both played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and that is when he had him autograph the notorious football.

“My last pass as a Patriot,” Brady wrote on the football.

Logan Ryan placed the football up for auction, with proceeds benefiting his "Ryan Animal Rescue Foundation." The football has had one bid thus far for $122,000 and the auction will close at 10:00 EST on Saturday, August 17.

Tom Brady's stats in final game with Patriots

Tom Brady's final game in the New England Patriots uniform came on January 4, 2020, at Gillette Stadium.

In Brady's final game with the Patriots, a 20-13 loss to the Tennessee Titans in the first round of the 2019 NFL playoffs, he threw for just 209 yards. Brady completed 20 of 37 passes and didn't record a touchdown pass. He threw for one interception.

Fans suspected that the quarterback, who had spent 20 seasons in the NFL, would test free agency for the first time in his historic career.

Brady would end up signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he went on to add another Super Bowl title to his NFL resume.

Tom Brady's NFL career is done, but his next chapter begins in Week 1 of the season. The future Hall of Fame quarterback will make his FOX Sports broadcast debut on September 8, 2024, when he and Kevin Burkhardt call the Dallas Cowboys' Week 1 game versus the Cleveland Browns.

Brady signed a 10-year deal with FOX Sports, reportedly worth $375 million, making him the highest-paid broadcaster in sports.
