Tom Brady’s Super Bowl-winning ex-teammate refuses to buy into NFL legend’s Thanksgiving plans
Tom Brady has a phsyique most of us could only dream of having. But that does not come at a small price. Years of following a strict diet and exercise schedule are what have helped him stay in his prime even at the age of 47 years.
During Tuesday's "Kay Adams Show," she referred to Brady speaking about having to work on Thanksgiving Day away from his children and him hogging turkey. She said that Brady was not having any "good Thanksgiving food."
His former teammate from his Tampa Bay Buccanneers days, Lavonte David went a step further and jokingly hinted that he had a Superman ability:
"To this day I still haven't seen Tom Brady eat nothing. I don't even know what he eats."
Kay Adams and her co-host split up in laughter when they heard this and Adams joked that there was no way that the seven-time Super Bowl champion was eating turkey on Thanksgiving Day.
A quick flip through Brady's book "TB12" would give David insights into his strict diet and how he remains in shape and in great physical condition. However, considering his lean physique it's understandable why David would think that way.
Tom Brady's plans ruined for Thanksgiving Day courtesy of $375 million gig
While covering Sunday's game for Fox, Curt Menefee, host of "OT," said that another NFL analyst, Michael Strahan, came to know during his first year in television that he would have to skip Thanksgiving dinner with his family and instead work on the holiday.
Then, Menefee told Tom Brady that he, too, would have to work on Thanksgiving Day this year: the New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys game. Tom Brady then made a shocked face and reacted to the news, although it is highly likely that he knew beforehand that he would have to choose his $375 million gig over spending time with his children. Tom Brady will be calling six Cowboys games this season.
The Giants vs. Cowboys game will be an exciting one as the divisional rivals look to one-up the other. The Cowboys will be looking to win their second straight game, while the Giants will hope to end their six-game losing streak.
Fans are eagerly waiting to see which team will come out on top on Thursday.
