Tom Brady shows off timeless $700,000 Audemars Piguet x Travis Scott watch
Tom Brady was not exactly the highest-paid player in the NFL when he was still active, often taking pay cuts to ensure the quality of the team around him. But he is still more than capable of purchasing some pricey timepieces.
Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, Richard Mille - the legendary former quarterback had developed an $11-million collection when he decided to auction it off last month. But now he is building a new one.
On Tuesday, he took to his Instagram Stories to reveal his latest timepiece - an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Travis Scott. Limited to just 200 units worldwide, it retails for up to $700,000, per Big Moe Watches
The watch, which is co-designed by rapper and music producer Travis Scott, includes design motifs from his record label, Cactus Jack. Moreover, it is the first Audemars Piguet to come in brown ceramic, per GQ.
Tom Brady discusses parenting struggles in recent forum
There is a popular saying that goes, "Success cannot come without failure." And Tom Brady has seen his fair share of failure.
From wild-card round exits to Super Bowl losses, there has never been a time when he was not invincible. His biggest failure, however, may have come off the field - namely his failure to keep his marriage to Gisele Bundchen intact.
But even when they were still together, he would also have his fair share of failures as a parent. Speaking at the Fortune Global Forum on Tuesday, Brady told the magazine's editor-in-chief Alyson Shontell:
"All of the parents of the room know that being a parent is probably the hardest job all of us have. And we screw up a lot. And I've screwed up a lot as a parent. I don't want to seem like some expert because I'm certainly not that."
He continued by saying that he would do his best to be dependable to his three children - Vivien and Benjamin (whom he shares with Bundchen) and Jack (whom he shares with actress and ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan):
"Whatever our kids choose as we know, for them to do anything in life, we got to support [them]. The blessing my parents gave me was when I was that longshot as a kid who was a backup quarterback on a freshman team, they never said, 'Man, don't do that. It's going to be too hard. Let's do something different.' They kind of said, 'Go for it.'"
Tom Brady currently works as a commentator for Fox. He also owns a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders, which the league approved last month.
