Tom Brady spams IG with career highlights after stunning retirement announcement
Tom Brady has announced his retirement from the NFL, this time "for good." The star QB shared a video confirming the news on social media, instantly sending the NFL world into a frenzy.
On Instagram, Brady ended up spamming everyone with a photo dump. This mostly included photos of him with former teammates, other athletes, and his family. Most of the images were of his children, Jack, Ben and Vivian.
Many images seem to be from his time with the New England Patriots, featuring photos from his wins and a few Patriots games. He also included photos with other NFL icons like Peyton Manning.
Brady also included photos of his parents, who have supported him throughout his career.
"I love my family. I love my teammates. I love my friends. I love my coaches. I love football. I love you all. I am truly grateful on this day. Thank you," Brady wrote on Instagram.
Tom Brady has finally retired "for good"
Last year, Brady changed his mind after announcing his retirement. The 45-year-old returned to play another season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a month later.
This time, Brady seems determined to stay retired.
"‘Good morning guys. I’ll get to the point right away. I’m retiring. For good. I know the process was a pretty big deal last time so when I woke up this morning I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first. I won’t be long-winded. You only get one super-emotional retirement essay and I used mine up last year," Brady said.
He continued:
"Thank you guys so much to every single one of you for supporting me. My family, my friends, my teammates, my competitors, I could go on forever- there's too many. Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream. I wouldn't change a thing."
Considering his illustrious 23-year career, Brady might end up as an analyst or with a broadcast network. As of now, the seven-time Super Bowl winner seems to be enjoying some downtime with his family.
