How Tom Brady failed to save his marriage with Gisele
Following months of rumors, Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen have officially separated. The couple were together for 13 years, with their divorce making headlines for days. However, it was not because of the lack of trying.
According to a recent report, Brady tried to make it work with Gisele. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers star worked to mend their relationship, but the effort probably didn't amount to much.
Previous reports have claimed that Brady was less present in their marriage, with him deciding to play another season, causing Gisele to take the final step. She was the first one to initiate the divorce, with Brady lawyering up in defense.

As per PEOPLE, Brady was "really trying to fix" their relationship. However, by the time he tried, the damage was already done. A source said:
"But at that point, it was a little bit too little, too late. She gave him a lot of opportunities to fix things, and he didn't."
Their divorce was finalized on October 28th.
Furthermore, reports added that Brady was not as attentive as Bundchen wanted him to be. The couple have since released their own statements on social media, both talking about their family, children and their relationship.
While it was a difficult decision to make, a divorce seemed like the inevitable next step for both Tom Brady and Gisele.
Are the Dolphins to be blamed for Tom Brady's divorce?
Although Tom Brady and Bundchen have confirmed their divorce, they have refused to address the reasons behind their split. Many suspect it to be the NFL and Brady not prioritizing their family.
NFL insider Mike Florio believes the Miami Dolphins are to be blamed. While on Barstool’s Pardon My Take podcast, Florio claimed Brady's suspected move to the Dolphins might have stirred up issues.
“There’s a theory in league circles, and I think I’m couching it properly, that the issues with Tom Brady and his wife blew up when the league announced the punishment of the Dolphins. Because of the flirtation with Brady, because she had, as the theory goes, no idea he was talking to the Dolphins."
Apparently, the 45-year-old kept his possible move to Miami a secret from Bundchen.
Florio added:
"I’m telling you, there are people who are employed by NFL teams who think that. And when you look at the timeline, that stuff came out, and it was the next day he started missing practices."
Despite multiple issues, both Bundchen and Tom Brady continue to heal alone, while also spending quality time with their children.
