"Oh my god, it's so bad" - Tom Brady trolls his old team Patriots over play labelled as worst in NFL history

They might've been separated for a few years now, but Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are still deeply tied together. After all, the legendary quarterback played there for 20 seasons and won six Super Bowls for the Patriots.

Ever since leaving for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Brady and his former team have followed different paths. While he won another ring in Florida, the Patriots struggled to get competitive.

They did reach the playoffs in 2021, but their quarterback situation feels unsettled with Mac Jones' regression in his second season.

There are even rumors of a possible reunion in 2023 if Brady, who will be a free agent following this season, decides to play another year.

Tom Brady did talk about the New England Patriots in the latest version of 'Let's Go!', his podcast alongside Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray. But there was no mention of a possible return or anything like that. The quarterback took the opportunity to troll his former team for one of the dumbest plays in NFL history.

“In America, our sporting events bring so many people together. It’s great to see,” Brady said. “Everyone feels a part of it. It’s live. It’s in the moment. Very emotional… I was watching the Raiders game and I saw that last play. It’s like, ‘Oh my god, it’s so bad’ and ‘Oh my god, it so good'. Where else in life do things like that happen? I’ve been on the winning end of those. I go crazy. You don’t even know what to feel.”

Tom Brady mercilessly trolls Patriots over 'Pitch-Six'

The New England Patriots lost to the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday in one of the most bizarre - and frankly, dumb - plays in the league's history. Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers decided to throw a lateral pass with the clock expired and the game headed to OT. But Raiders defensive end Chandler Jones caught the ball and took it to the endzone, scoring a touchdown and ending the game.

To be fair, there was no way for him not to talk about this game's ending. That's not only because of his ties to the franchise but also because, well, that might go down as the dumbest play of all time.

We shall see if this relationship will take a different turn in recent months and if Tom Brady and the Patriots will ever connect again on the field.
