Will Tom Brady get to keep their Miami mega-mansion?

Tom Brady's divorce, however private, has turned heads throughout the world. Fans are curious about the reason behind his separation, while some have shared their own opinions. Their divorce is just as high profile as their marriage was, involving more than just their severed relationship.

Easily one of the world's most successful (and popular) couples, Brady and Bundchen were worth hundreds of millions together.

They also chose an ironclad prenup before tying the knot. This means that in the case of a divorce, there is a proper distribution of assets. Usually, assets include everything from their houses and properties to joint investments.

According to recent reports, their prenup was also why their divorce process was smoother. Often, celebrity divorces can take time, especially if there is a discourse about who would walk away with what.

Apparently, Brady will be the one walking away with their under-construction Miami mansion. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers star is planning on playing in the NFL for a long time and will probably spend some time with his children at the property.

The mansion is worth $17 million.

Furthermore, the house is located on the Indian Creek Island in Miami, also called the 'Billionaire's Bunker'. The couple purchased it in 2020, demolishing the previous building to build a new home.

Tom Brady and Gisele had a good prenup arrangement

As mentioned, Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen's prenup steered them through a fast-tracked divorce.

As per sources, their prenup was set up before they married in 2009:

“There was an ironclad prenup set down before they married in 2009. They both have their own separate business entities, so the separation of their wealth wasn’t that complicated in the end. The only other major factor was dividing up their massive property portfolio."

The 42-year-old supermodel will be keeping their home in the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica.

Tom Brady and Gisele also own properties in the Bahamas, the exclusive Yellowstone Club in Montana, and New York City.

Reports add that Bundchen ended up buying a smaller, more modest house in Miami Beach. This is a three-bedroom, three-bathroom place. Bundchen bought it for $1.25 million and will probably use it as an office.

She might also purchase another larger house in the area.

That being said, despite their differences, Bundchen and Brady have decided to part amicably and share custody of their children.
