Travis Kelce announces 'Kelce Car Jam' to support his youth-focused charity

Travis Kelce is more than a dominant and popular football player. He is also a prolific event organizer, as evidenced by his Kelce Jam concerts. Now, he is doing a car show for the second time.

Kelce Car Jam is set to take place on Oct. 5 in downtown Kansas City, two days before his Chiefs host the New Orleans Saints. Organized by the Eight Seven and Running Foundation, it will star, among others, his eight cars, including the Rolls-Royce Ghost that he drove to a dinner date with his multi-platinum pop superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

On the charity's website, he said:

"As a kid, I was mindful of how life looked different for everyone, but as a man I am profoundly aware of the difference in opportunity, exposure and privilege I grew up with compared to others.
"When you live, the situation were born into or the color of your skin should have no impact on your dreams you can dream. And it's a beautiful thing when a kid's dream comes true."

Travis Kelce planning permanent Hollywood transition once NFL career ends

Travis Kelce and the Chiefs are aiming to achieve the first-ever three-peat in the Super Bowl era.

But it is not unfathomable to think that he may retire if that happens since he already has inroads into Hollywood, from TV roles in "Grotesquerie" and "Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?" to movie production credits for "My Dead Friend Zoe and King Pleasure."

His portfolio will only expand from there. Kelce will have a cameo role in the sequel to the classic Adam Sandler comedy "Happy Gilmore." An insider recently described its significance to the US Sun.

"(Sandler) is one of Travis’ idols, and he feels that the experience of working with Sandler will make him learn so much about the movie industry and acting, but also the business part of it as Sandler is a fantastic businessman too.
"Working with one of the best in the business is the best way to learn, and he sees that opportunity as a way to open more doors in the movie industry, for other acting roles and to show what he is capable of in this industry."

He is also in talks to star in the action comedy "Loose Cannons," which will be co-produced by Jason Spitz, his partner at 87Eleven Entertainment.
