Travis Kelce has girlfriend Taylor Swift to thank for introducing him to new food cuisines: "I do have a mental block"
Taylor Swift’s introduction into Travis Kelce's life has brought about significant changes for both of them. However, Travis' older brother, Jason Kelce, is especially thankful to Swift for changing Travis' food habits.
During the October 9th episode of their "New Heights" podcast, Jason praised Swift for bringing new tastes into Travis’ life. The Kansas City Chiefs man acknowledged that while he remains selective about what he eats, he's been more open to trying new things.
“She's introducing new foods to you, and it's been one of the greatest things that I've been happy about,” Jason said. (23:10 mark)
“I'm still picky when it comes to, like, what I'll eat on the table, but at the same time, it's like...I'm gonna dance. I'll dance,” Travis Kelce responded.
Jason, still confused, pressed for details and asked about Swift’s encouragement for Travis Kelce to eat curry.
“I'm in on, like, a light curry. The more it gets thicker and it looks like, like a baby food, or like baby sh*t, then I'm out,” Travis said.
“So, you just have a mental block with foods that look like poop?” asked Jason Kelce.
“That looks like it just came out of a bu**hole. Yes, I do have a mental block for that,” Travis responded.
Apart from having influenced Kelce’s fame and mainstream acceptance, Swift is swiftly changing his food habits as well. The fans would hope, the three-time Super Bowl winner takes a liking to curry as well.
Taylor Swift reacts to Travis Kelce getting 70-yards
The season started slow for the nine-time Pro Bowler; however, he turned it around in the last game against the New Orleans Saints. With Taylor Swift in attendance, Travis Kelce recorded nine catches for 70 yards. After the game, Swift appeared in Mecole Hardman Jr.’s fiancé Chariah Gordon's Instagram story to deliver her take on the game.
“Going into a bye week... Perfect is the word,” Swift said.
Swift was extremely happy with the Chiefs being undefeated (5-0) in the season thus far and will enjoy a bye week now. They will resume action on the road with a rematch of the Super Bowl, facing off against the San Francisco 49ers on October 20.
