Travis Kelce heaps praise on Olivia Dunne as Chiefs star collaborates for new energy drink commercial
Travis Kelce is actively working on off-NFL projects with just a few months left before the regular season starts. The Chiefs tight end recently shot a commercial for the Accelerator Active Energy drink with LSU gymnast and social media influencer Olivia Dunne.
Good Morning America released an exclusive interview with Travis Kelce on Thursday, in which the Chiefs tight end talked about his experience working with Dunne. The Super Bowl winner praised the LSU gymnast, saying:
"[2:12] Got Livvy Dunne in the building, LSU gymnast. Absolutely just an awesome person. She’s down there making Accelerator look amazing."
While Kelce is also an investor in the energy drink brand and has been promoting the drink ever since joining the board, it's not Dunne's first time working with Accelerator. Olivia Dunne first announced her partnership with the brand in July 2023.
"What really attracted to me to Accelerator at first was the loaded roster of top tier athletes that use this and drink it. I mean, Aaron Judge, Travis Kelce — they all use it and they’re obviously amazing athletes. So that’s what really attracted me," Dunne said via the New York Post.
Besides talking about his new projects, Travis Kelce also spoke about his life after starting a relationship with Taylor Swift. Kelce said that things have just become great for him since last year.
Travis Kelce is thankful for everything great that came his way
During the Good Morning America interview, Travis Kelce was asked to pick a number from one to 10 to rate his life. The Chiefs tight end picked the number 100 while expressing how he has been nothing but grateful for having such a good life. He said:
[03:52] "Man, 20, a 100. I’m so fortunate and so grateful of everything that has come my way in life.”
Kelce's highly publicized relationship with Taylor Swift has drawn even more attention toward him. The tight end was asked how, despite that, he stayed true to himself, and he answered:
[03:26] "When you have good family and friends around you, it makes that aspect of life so much easier. I’ve always been a very grounded guy. Might not come off like that when I’m playing football, but off the field I just want to be a genuine person."
