Travis Kelce highlights the peak of his life (and it's not dating Taylor Swift)
Travis Kelce is approaching the peak of his career. Starting with the 2023 Super Bowl, Kelce is on his way to a three-peat, and he's dating Taylor Swift.
At the 2024 American Century Celebrity Golf Championship Tournament, Kelce spoke to NBC Sports about his career. Discussing the 2023 NFL season, Kelce described the peak of his life, which was facing his brother Jason Kelce during the Super Bowl.
"It's been the funnest year of my life, I can definitely say that. I said that after the Super Bowl when I played my brother, and meeting my brother at the mountaintop was the peak of my life. You know it keeps going up and up from there, and who knows, man, who knows where this thing goes if I get a chance to win another one," he said.
Kelce was also asked about his possible career as a backup dancer, referring to his appearance on Taylor Swift's Eras Tour:
"I can't let anything out of the bag, but right now I'm in full football mode after golf."
Kelce also dedicated an award to Taylor Swift at the American Century Championship in Nevada.
"Taylor, this is for you!" Kelce said on stage.

Following their Super Bowl win in Las Vegas, Travis Kelce has traveled the world to accompany Taylor Swift at concerts. It started with Australia and Singapore, and Kelce has since attended shows in Paris, London and Amsterdam.
While on the "New Heights" podcast with his brother Jason, Travis spoke about how his cameo came to be.
"I initially mentioned it to Tay. I was like, 'how funny would it be? If I just like rolled out on one of the bikes during the 1989... that era.' She started laughing, she was like, ‘Would you seriously be up for, like, doing something like that?’"
After dating for over a year, Swift and Kelce went viral with their first public appearance together. Swift was at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, and the couple had a photo taken while leaving the stadium together.
With the 2024 NFL season nearing, one can expect similar appearances from Swift at future games.
