Travis Kelce invests in alternate revenue stream after $100,000,000 New Heights deal
Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce is extending his off-the-field brand with his latest investment. After the massive multi-million-dollar deal involving his New Heights podcast, the three-time Super Bowl champion has now joined the ownership of a racehorse named 'Swift Delivery,' a fitting name for the future Hall of Fame tight end.
Barry Irwin, Team Valor International funder and CEO, announced Tuesday that Kelce joined the ownership group of three-year-old 'Swift Delivery' alongside the Zoldan family.
Kelce attended the Kentucky Derby with members of the Zoldan family earlier this year thanks to his friendship with Bruce Zoldan's son, Alex.
It remains undisclosed if 'Swift Delivery' was named after Kelce's girlfriend, pop superstar Taylor Swift, or if this was just a coincidence.
The racehorse is coming off two wins in his last two starts at Woodbine Racetrack outside Toronto. He is set to race again on Saturday in a 1-mile race at Woodbine.
