Travis Kelce reveals 'a side deal' with George Kittle and Greg Olsen raised $1,000,000 for charity

Travis Kelce, George Kittle and Greg Olsen were at the fourth iteration of the Tight End University event. Through all the highlights, Kelce raised a million dollars for charity.

TEU was founded in 2021 by former Carolina Panthers TE Olsen, Kansas City Chiefs TE Kelce and San Francisco 49ers TE Kittle. It’s a three-day summit where the TEs bond and share their ideas about the game.

On the Kelce brothers' podcast, ‘New Heights,' Travis Kelce showed his appreciation and gratitude to the entire Kittle family. Since the Kittles live in Nashville, they hosted the entire event. Kelce also dropped news about a "side deal" during this year’s TEU.

“It is unbelievable where it's come. I'm pretty sure we've made somewhere close to a million dollars for charity in terms of sponsorships. And that's just like, that's like a side deal,” Kelce said. [17:42 – 17:55]

As per Travis Kelce, the real deal about TEU is as advertised. He continued:

“Like, everybody's going there to try and get better and make the tight end position better.” [17:56 - 18:00]

That said, Travis felt he missed out for not being able to attend the entire TEU 3-day program since the three-time Super Bowl winner had to leave for his Europe trip.

Travis Kelce, George Kittle and Greg Olsen's TEU

For the fourth year in a row, Tight End University returned to the Vanderbilt University campus in Nashville, Tennessee. George Kittle and his family were once again leading the charge in the hosting department, helped by fellow founders of TEU Greg Olsen and Travis Kelce.

As per the core principles of TEU, it hosted tight ends from different franchises of the league. This year’s iteration of the camp focused on player bonding and friendships apart from on-field techniques and game-related issues. At TEU this year, Kittle said:

“The whole point of Tight End U was to bring all these guys together and create great friendships so they get to know each other.”

Kelce and company have not revealed any plans for TEU 2025 yet. This year’s successful and charitable event is bound to create further excitement among TEs.
