Travis Kelce reveals how Chiefs teammates focused away from TE's acting in his debut on 'Grotesquerie'

Travis Kelce made his Hollywood debut with Ryan Murphy's horror show Grotesquerie last month. While Kelce has received reviews for his acting from many celebrities, what his Kansas City Chiefs teammates think of it didn't come to light until recently.

In the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce were accompanied by Grotesquerie star Niecy Nash. During a segment of the podcast, Nash asked the Chiefs tight end to share his teammate's reaction to his acting in the horror show.

"They're very interested in the dynamic on the show like they're. Everybody is kind of like mind blown on like what's really going on during the show so that is kind of taking everybody's mind away from me as an actor. They're involved in the story," Kelce said. (1:06:12).

Moving forward in the podcast, Travis Kelce opened up about his experience working with Niecy Nash. Recalling his first scene at sets of Grotesquerie, Kelce said:

"I remember the first scene we had. I was just sticking to the script I was on. I was like word for word, trying to just stick to the script. I wasn't trying to waste anybody's time, and you lightened the mood." (1:08:46)

"You made it so comfortable as a professional and I did see that you were looking at the takes. Like you were processing how you were doing things, and it was so cool to see your professionalism and everything on set," the Chiefs tight end added.

Niecy Nash opened up about experience working with Travis Kelce

In an interview with PEOPLE, Niecy Nash opened up about her experience working with Travis Kelce on sets of Grotesquerie. Recalling his first impression of Chiefs tight end, the actress said:

"It was funny because I saw people's reaction to him before I really could take him in. All the guys — these big guys on the set, the grips, transport, and everybody — [they] were just fangirling all the way out. And I'm like, 'Oh my god, guys.' But Travis was lovely to have on set. Very charming, very fun."
"He was very professional, always came prepared. He's extra greedy, so he eats a lot, but just a good guy on and off camera. He was very open on if there was a note given or a suggestion given. So amenable. 'Tell me what I don't know. Tell me what your thought is on this,'" Nash added.

Apart from talking about Grotesquerie, the Kelce brothers included Taylor Swift in their conversations during the New Heights podcast. The Chiefs tight end even appeared to be hitting back at fans for questioning his romance with the Blank Space singer.
